Our parish youth group, The Flock, is open to students in grades 8-12. Formerly known as CYO, this teen group is a great way to make friends and spend time with fellow Catholics. Our meetings typically take place one to two Sundays a month during the school year from 6:00-7:15pm. Additional events take place at other times during the week. We encourage attendance and participation at the Sunday 5:00pm Mass. Let us know if you want to be an usher, lector, altar server, singer, or instrumentalist!
The Flock participates in various parish activities, performs community service, and holds fundraisers. Members also enjoy fun activities with friends throughout the year. The Immaculate Conception & Assumption of Our Lady youth group aims to provide spiritual, educational, and social activities for the youth of our parish. It runs under the supervision of a clerical moderator and adult advisors. The group also elects teen officers as leaders among their peers.
In order to participate in The Flock, a parent or guardian must complete the permission form below. A tentative schedule for the year is below. We will keep you informed as best as possible for changes or additions via email or text. Students should bring the form with them to the first event they attend and hand it in to Adult Advisor Alina Troya.
Students may join at any time during the school year, though we encourage participation as early as possible for a full experience. Students who join are welcome to attend as many meetings and events as their schedule permits. There is no requirement to attend every event. Teen Officers in the group do, however, have an obligation to attend most events.
