What is Prayer?

Prayer can be described as hanging out with God or as a friendly conversation with God.

Some people like to talk to God while they walk or exercise. Others like to sit in Jesus' presence in the Eucharist.

However you like to pray, God is inviting you spend time with Him. God wants to love you.

You will only know how loved you are by God, if you take time for HIm.

One way of praying is by pondering the Mass Readings of the day. See below.

Soul of Christ, sanctify me;
Body of Christ, save me;
Blood of Christ, inebriate me;
Water from the side of Christ, wash me;
Passion of Christ, strengthen me;
O good Jesus, hear me;
within your wounds, hide me;
let me never be separated from you;
from the evil one, protect me;
at the hour of my death, call me;
and bid me to come to you;
that with your saints,
I may praise you forever and ever. Amen.
