Availability of Cremation Niches in Holy Mount Columbarium and Terrace Gardens

Holy Mount Columbarium and Terrace Gardens provides a beautiful and peaceful resting place for the inurnment of cremated remains on the Sacred Grounds of Holy Mount Cemetery. Cremation niches are available in two sizes, and each size can hold up to two urns of cremated remains. Indoor and outdoor niches are available at these prices:

About Holy Mount
-
Holy Mount Cemetery, nestled in the Lake Isle Sector of Eastchester, NY, was established in 1882 to serve the immigrants who had settled in Tuckahoe and Eastchester. The cemetery is owned and
maintained by the Parish of the Immaculate Conception and Assumption of our Lady and contains over 5,500 graves and two Mausoleums on 4.5 acres of land off California Road.
While there are no full body burial spots available for purchase, a Columbarium was constructed in 2021, with its opening on December 25, 2021, to meet the needs of parishioners and others who wish a final, holy resting place in lower Westchester. The Columbarium made available over 1,600 niches for those who opt for burial through cremation.
The new Columbarium and Terrace Gardens are situated within the beautifully landscaped cemetery grounds. After passing through the ornamental gate, peaceful pathways lead to the granite niche walls of the three outdoor sections of the Columbarium: the Assumption Terrace Garden, St. Bernadette’s Walkway, and the Shrine of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception. Indoor niches are found in the Holy Mount Building which features artisan stonework and exquisite stained glass windows.
